- Security managed using firewall monitoring and encryption/digital certificates
- Anti-virus updates 4 times a day with the latest virus definition files
- Anti-virus version upgrades once a month.
- 2Mbs bandwidth Internet connection through hot-standby resilience lines ( the main and back-up circuits are routed through separate points of presence)
- Equipment protected by individual Un-interruptible Power Supplies (UPS) against power surges and short term power failure
- Back-up electrical generators (protection from longer-term power failure)
- Daily back-ups stored off-site for one backup cycle (1 month)
- Monthly copy held for a 13 month cycle
- Level 1 continuity disaster recovery procedure in the event of loss of the main data centre
- Provision of usage statistics and session activity statistics (where applicable)
- Servers operated from a secure (combination locks and steel cage), climate-controlled server room
